Why bees? I have been drawing them since my glass studio had a flood in the spring of 2019 and I had to temporarily retreat to the kitchen as an art space. I found that drawing bees fills me with calm. It allows me to reflect upon their importance in the world. They have amazing wings, colours and shape to them, and are part of such intricate relationships with the world around them.
